A Brief History

Our business traces its origins to our founder, Robert Heard. He started his woodworking career in the 1960s building Singer sewing machine cabinets. During those years, he acquired in-depth knowledge of the industry. Robert then started his own company in the 1980s, doing moldings and doors for construction.

Tru-Cab Inc started in 1997 with him, a couple of family members, and a few table saws. Today, we have evolved into a successful kitchen cabinet manufacturing business. We now have two manufacturing plants, and we supply quality cabinets all over the nation.
